Batting order, positions by inning, and playing time on one card

Stop juggling 9 fielding positions, a batting order, and your pitchers on paper. Drag players into a batting order, fill every position inning by inning with a DH slot, and watch each player's innings add up as you go — then export the card as a PDF.

9 Positions x Batting Order = Headache

A baseball lineup isn't just a batting order. You need to slot 9 defensive positions, decide who sits each inning, manage pitcher-catcher pairings, and handle the DH rule for leagues that use it. One wrong move and your best hitter is stuck at second base in the 6th inning with no backup catcher.

Baseball Lineup Features

Batting Order & Reserves

Drag players into your batting order, set each player's starting position, and keep everyone else on reserves. Reorder right up to game time.

Inning-by-Inning Position Grid

Fill P, C, the infield, the outfield, and DH for 4 to 9 innings, with INF and OF flex spots for extra fielders. Copy one inning and paste it to the rest when little changes.

Pitching Roles: SP, RP, CL

Tag starters, relievers, and a closer. With a Reply1 account, Auto Balance puts starters in the early innings, relievers in the middle, and the closer in the last two innings, then rotates the field positions around them.

Playing-Time Alerts

Each player's innings played update as you fill the grid. The card flags anyone benched more than half the game or two innings behind a teammate, plus any inning with a missing or doubled-up position.

Baseball Lineup Generator FAQ

Is it really free?

Yes. Build the lineup, fill the position grid, and download the lineup card and playing-time grid as PDFs by entering your email — no account needed. A Reply1 account adds Auto Balance, roster import from a pasted list or a photo, and printing straight from the page.

Does it track pitch counts or enforce minimum innings?

No. It doesn't count pitches or apply league minimums. It shows every player's innings played and flags anyone benched more than half the game, so a short-changed player stands out before the game.

Does it handle the DH?

Yes. DH is its own row on the position grid, next to INF and OF flex spots for extra fielders. There's no separate extra-hitter or continuous-batting-order setting — you choose who's in the batting order and who sits.
